The Bayfield boys also reached the championship by scoring a narrow victory over M-CHS in its semifinal on Friday, 63-61.

BHS was scheduled to take on Centauri in the championship game after the Falcons defeated Ignacio 81-26 in the semis.

The Bobcat boys, however, responded from their semifinal loss by beating M-CHS in Saturday’s third-place game, 49-37.

The Crested Butte girls were scheduled to play M-CHS in the girls third-place contest.
