One of the last remaining pioneer cabins standing in Colorado is in Disappointment Valley. A play about pioneer Lizzy Knight, who lived there will show March 14 at 7 p.m. at the Cortez Cultural Center. Her story will be performed by Terri Helm and Midge Kirk, both of Rico. The cabin was recently listed as one of the “most endangered” historical sites in Colorado.
