The Montezuma County Public Health Department will provide free COVID-19 testing on June 25 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the north side of the Southwest Memorial Hospital campus at the EMS garage.

The drive-up clinic at 1311 N. Mildred Road is a collaboration between county public health and Southwest Health System.

Please bring identification such as a driver’s license.

Testing will be available to anyone. No symptoms are required and no appointment is needed. Test recipients will be notified of results, and provided guidance if positive.

As of June 24, Montezuma County has had 69 confirmed positive cases, 9 active cases and 57 recovered. There has been one COVID-19 death in the county, and one COVID-19 positive death but it was not the cause of death. There have been 1,646 negative tests.
