I’ve had the impression for many years that the Fox News Channel is not journalism. I think it’s storytelling and entertainment with little distinction between fiction and nonfiction. The network wants to tell stories that resonate with their viewers with little concern about facts or truth.

It’s a lot like reality TV, which doesn’t seem to be very real either, but it entertains.
