Four States Irrigation Council to hold 2026 annual meeting in Northglenn

The Four States Irrigation Council will hold its annual meeting Jan. 14-15 at the Delta Hotel in Northglenn.

Representatives from ditch and irrigation companies, state and federal officials, farmers and others from Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska and Wyoming will attend to discuss “timely and critical water-infrastructure issues,” according to a news release from the council. The event is open to the public.

Presentations will cover regional water projects and irrigation challenges. Updates from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, the Family Farm Alliance, state water offices, university staff and regional experts are scheduled.

Exhibitors will showcase innovations, new products and services. The Headgate awards will be presented to “individuals who have been active and supportive of irrigation and water resources development in the Four States region” at the annual banquet.

Founded in 1952, the Four States Irrigation Council serves as a forum for discussing water delivery, irrigation issues and solutions.
