For Pets’ Sake Humane Society will host its 11th annual Summer Wine Festival 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, at Cliffrose Garden Center just east of Cortez on U.S. Highway 160.

“Party with Ric (Plese) and all your FPS friends in his beautiful gardens while raising the funds needed to help more local animals,” Sally Jo Leitner said Monday in a news release.

Liquid Assets and Guy Drew Vineyards will provide an assortment of wines, the WildEdge Brewing Collective will provide the beer, and For Pets’ Sake will provide a variety of cold beverages.

Terry Wells and Friends will play the music, made sweeter by a wide variety of delicious appetizers and desserts. There also will be a silent auction featuring great gift certificates and other irresistible items.

The event is For Pets’ Sake celebration fundraiser of the year.
