The For Pets’ Sake Humane Society’s Mother’s Day Bake Sale will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. at the north entrance to City Market, Cortez. Bakers can drop off their goodies starting at 1:30 p.m. Friday. Early drop-offs can be made from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 9, at XTROV Realty, 444 E. Montezuma, behind City Market. Bake, buy or donate and help local pets.
