For Pets’ Sake in Cortez, Dolores areas needs support

For Pets’ Sake Humane Society’s annual membership drive is happening right now and we need your support. Celebrating 37 years of service, we have managed to keep going in the face of a pandemic.

For Pets’ Sake’s mission has always been to improve the lives of companion animals in Montezuma and Dolores Counties. Our volunteers continuously raise funds so we can assist local residents with spay/neuter costs, emergency veterinary bills and pet food when money is tight.

For Pets’ Sake provides foster homes and medical care for special needs cats and dogs and we facilitate owner-assisted adoptions for folks who can no longer care for their beloved pets. Our Feral Cat Project addresses the issue of feline overpopulation with an incredibly successful trap/neuter/release program.

For Pets’ Sake has touched many local lives, both two- and four-legged. We have our wonderful Humane Society members to thank for much of what we are able to accomplish!

The community’s financial support is crucial to our work. We are a 501(c)3 not-for-profit group with no paid staff, so 95% of our funds can go directly to the animals. Our membership year begins July 1, so now is the perfect time to join.

To receive a membership brochure, please email info@forpetssakehs.org, or go to our website: www.forpetssakehs.org, or call 565-PETS (7387) and we will happily mail you a brochure.

Thanks for considering a membership with For Pets’ Sake Humane Society. The animals thank you, too!
