For Pet’s Sake Humane Society will host the 18th annual Cortez Turkey Trot at Parque de Vida on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25. Registration is at 9:30 a.m., and the race begins at 10 a.m.

There is a $25 registration fee that earns participants a T-shirt. Runners are encouraged to bring their pets. There will also be prizes for first to finish, best costume and most unique animal.
