Boxes of goods distributed at county annex
Boxes of food will be distributed today at the Montezuma County Annex parking lot at 107 N. Chestnut.
A food truck drive will take place today at the Montezuma County Annex, 107 N. Chestnut in Cortez.
Forty-pound boxes of food will be available for Montezuma County residents from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. There is a suggested cash donation of $20, but no one will be turned away if they can’t donate.
Residents are asked to stay in their vehicle and volunteers will load the boxes. Pick up a ticket in the Senior Center parking lot; limit 4 tickets per vehicle. There are 430 boxes available. The food drive is organized by Church of the Word International in Delta.
