The Mancos Farmers Market will open June 27, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Boyle Park, and run weekly thereafter.

Come and shop for your fresh veggies and other goodies, visit friends, and enjoy local musicians, while the children are entertained by staff members from the Mancos library and others.

Music on June 27 will be by "Roscoe", awell-known Mancos duo. Kids will go home with a balloon animal, taught by Linda Walters.

Local organizations are sponsoring the market each week. In return, the Farmers Market will advertise their business on the radio and with fliers and newspaper articles. Sponsorship monies will be used to pay musicians and for the radio broadcast. The Mancos Farmers Market is a nonprofit organization.

Opening day, June 27, is sponsored by David Blaine of the Absolute Bakery.
