Authorities searching for an 18-year-old woman reported Friday that have found a body near Collbran, Colorado, and have arrested her ex-boyfriend, according to the Denver Post.
The body was found near in the western Colorado town, which lies between Grand Junction and Glenwood Springs in Mesa County.
Ashley Marie Doolittle, of Berthoud, Colorado, was reported missing Thursday night after family members found her car near the Lon Hagler Reservoir in Larimer County.
Tanner George Flores, 18, was arrested near where the body was found and jailed in Mesa County, the Post reported.
Investigators said they have not identified the body as Doolittle’s.
Doolittle is the 2016 Boulder County Fair and Rodeo lady-in-waiting. Her Facebook page is filled with pictures of her on horses, in elaborate rodeo outfits at formal dances with Flores.
