Cortez Elks Lodge 1789 wishes to extend a very heartfelt thank you to Taz and Linnea Vass of Dolores Food Market, for their continued support of our Veteran’s Backpack Pantry Program.

For the past three years, the Vasses have allowed the Elks to purchase groceries for the veterans program at their cost.

The food is available on a weekly basis to homeless and/or disabled veterans through the Cortez Elks Lodge (on Saturdays from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.). The Vasses’ continued support of the program is greatly appreciated.
