DENVER – With the final exclamation point on the 2025-26 athletic calendar, CHSAA released its all-state baseball teams as another high school athletic season closed its final chapter.

Among the honorees, five M-CHS and three Dove Creek athletes earned recognition in their respective classifications after another solid season on the diamond for area teams. Panthers senior Cory Carver led the parade, closing out his impressive high school career with a selection to the 3A First Team. M-CHS added four honorable mention selections, as well, including seniors Parker Conrad, Jaris McDonald, Bodie Stiegelmeyer and junior Michael Krupa.

The Panthers upperclassmen provided another memorable season at McAndrew Field, blitzing the Intermountain League with a perfect league record, a 20-win season, and earning the program’s third state appearance in four years thanks to incredible balance up and down the lineup. At the top of the order, Conrad and Carver set the table, combining to score nearly 100 runs, while McDonald (37 RBIs) and Krupa (33 RBIs) followed suit by driving them in.

Stiegelmeyer turned over the lineup card as one of the most prolific nine-hole hitters in the state, going on a tear in the second half of the season to finish as one of five Panthers starters to bat over .400.

The Bulldogs earned honorable mention representation from senior Trevan Ivie, junior Cael Beanland and freshman Kycen Gritz in a season that saw DC finish 7-13 and a trip to the 1A district final.

Beanland showed his versatility by leading the team in batting average (.500) and innings pitched (46), while Ivie paced the squad with more than 1½ strikeouts per inning on the mound. Gritz became one of the most feared bats in the classification, leading the team in hits and RBIs in his dynamic first year at the high school level.

CHSAA selects its all-state teams based on nominations and a vote from head coaches from across the state, with the number of votes received determining placement on the first, second or honorable mention teams.
