Dylan Redwine’s mother to appear on Dr. Phil

Elaine Hatfield will give an update on death of son
Dylan Redwine

The mother of Dylan Redwine – the 13-year-old boy who disappeared and died in Southwest Colorado in 2012 – will appear on “The Dr. Phil Show” at 3 p.m. Tuesday on KRQE, channel 13.

According to the show’s website, Elaine Hatfield will provide an update on the case in which most recently, her former husband, Mark, was deemed a “person of interest.”

This will be the third time the case of Dylan Redwine will be featured on the show.

During a court-ordered visitation with his father in November 2012, Dylan Redwine vanished in an area north of Vallecito Reservoir. His remains were discovered in June 2013, northeast of his father’s home.

Hatfield and Mark Redwine have accused one another of responsibility for their son’s disappearance and death.

In 2015, the La Plata County Sheriff’s Office ruled Dylan’s death a homicide, and identified his father as a “person of interest.”

No one has been charged in connection with the 13-year old’s death.
