Duncan

The Mancos Valley Distillery presents D.L. (Dave) Duncan on Saturday, July 11. Doors open at 5 p.m., and music starts at 8 p.m.

There's a $3 cover charge.

Duncan is a favorite at Mancos Valley Distillery, where he has performed several times in the past couple of years.

Duncan has a new CD about to be released for worldwide distribution. His fourth CD of original material features some notable friends - Delbert McClinton, Sonny Landreth and The McCrary Sisters - who have received Grammy Awards. Duncan wrote the songs and recorded the project in Nashville, Tenn., and Lafayette, La.

Duncan plays electric and acoustic guitars, dobro, and national steel guitar on this upbeat blues album. Songs of life, love and redemption are his focus, and it's a very radio friendly, positive message that Duncan conveys on this new album.

Duncan has played coast to coast in the U.S. and internationally. He is returning to the Mancos Valley Distillery for the third summer in a row. Making a concerted push for a larger audience, this is a key album and time for the Nashville based artist.

"Tastes Like Friday" cocktail specials will be served.
