The Dove Creek volleyball team dropped its first two games last week to the Newcomb Skyhawks.

First, the Bulldogs played host to the Skyhawks on Tuesday and lost in three games (11-25, 25-27, 19-25).

Then the Bulldogs traveled to Newcomb on Friday, where the Skyhawks again took down the Dove Creek team in three straight sets (22-25, 16-25, 24-26).

Still early in the season, the Bulldogs will look to grab their first win on Thursday, Sept. 10in a home match against Dolores.

Then, they will host Monument Valley on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 4 p.m.
