The Dolores Town Board will discuss the retail marijuana moratorium at a Nov. 4 workshop beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Dolores’ moratorium on retail marijuana shops and retail grow facilities expires on Dec. 31. The board will examine different options. The moratorium could be extended, the matter could be put on the ballot, or the Town Board could make a decision on whether to allow retail marijuana operations in town.

The process for hiring a permanent town manager will also be addressed at the meeting.

The board is not allowed to vote on matters at a workshop.
