The Dolores Rotary Club will hold a fundraiser for the new playground at Joe Rowell Park with a dinner at 6 p.m. and bingo at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Dolores Community Center, 400 Riverside Ave.

The Town of Dolores is working on grants and designs and has tasked the Dolores Playground Group to begin in earnest getting funds to help in the grant matches they need.

Taco Tuesday dinner will be $5 per person, and bingo will be $10 per card. Each card is good for all 10 games, and no special bingo accessories are needed. Desserts will be auctioned off to the highest bidder.

Before bingo begins, representatives from the Playground Group and the Parks Committee will give an update on costs, design drafts, Kaboom & GOCO grants, timing and volunteers needed. This will be a community-build playground. Info on design days, who needs to be involved and ideas for corporate and big sponsors will be discussed.
