Dolores Peewee Wrestling Club opens season in Monticello

Several wrestlers take top honors after beating tough competition

Eager to put the skills that they have been perfecting in practice to the test, several members of the Dolores Peewee Wrestling Club traveled to Monticello on March 2 to compete in their first tournament of the spring.

First-place finishers in their respective divisions for Dolores included Noah Hobbs, Jax Robson, Sage Scott, Ryatt Loomis, Madisyn Schuster, Kyler Shoopman, Jack Stanley, Kameron Adams, Adams Hicks, Cash Rogers, Willy Millard, Tilden Begay, JJ Robson, River Wickstrom and Jaiden Green.

Second-place finishers for Dolores included Jackson Beattie, Devin Eichner, Allezaundra Duran, Abigail Green, Jeremiah Johnson, Tristan Schuster, Kason Pixler, Triston Scott, Devon Wall, Jervon Bia, Dylan Hancon, Zaine Johnson-Ward, Cash Taylor, Kaianna Ashmore, Payson Bryan, Jordan Yazzie, Akaia Edwards, Darren Hicks, True Loomis, Brooks Story and Marshal Wickstrom.

Third-place finishers for Dolores included Kyle Buffington, Liam Ferguson, Brody Liukko, Jacob Stepp, Bryson Higman, Ayden Winter, Tyshawn Begay, Daniel Jacket, Ashner Liukko, Gage Mueller, Teagun Samora, Emilio Duran and Mattais Labato.

Fourth-place finishers included Brodie Stiegelmeyer, Kelson McCracken, Aubriella Duran, Hunter Ferguson, Kadon Ruiz and Jozlyn Isman.

Next up for the Dolores Peewees will be the Blanding Brawl tournament, in Blanding on March 9.
