Many changes to be made on local mail contracts

Practically all the mail jobs out of Dolores were up for new bids recently, and the result has been that new men will operate these routs after July 1.

Ewing Rust, of Lewis, has been notified that he has been awarded the job of carrying the mail between here and Dove Creek. He will succeed Noel Sitton.

Rupert Becker, of Dolores, has been given the job of carrying the mail between here and McPhee, relieving Floyd Ogeltree, who has had the job for the past four years.

The Dolores-Cortez contract has not been let, and it is understood that the department will ask for bids. Wm. Craig now has that job.

The Dolores-Shiprock carrier has not been definitely named, according to Postmaster B.F. Greene.
