The Cortez Department of Motor Vehicles driver’s license office will close Nov. 20 for upgrades to hardware and software.

The new hardware and software is part of a cyclical update the DMV uses to provide better, more efficient customer service while safeguarding Coloradans’ personal information.

The DMV will reach out to those who had appointments scheduled during the closure with alternate accommodations.
