Colorado State University Extension will host an ag outlook and strategy forum from 8 a.m. to noon Feb. 11 at Lewis Arriola Community Center, 21203 Road S.

The forum will be hosted by CSU agricultural and business management economists Brent Young and Jenny Beiermann.

Topics include market outlook: common commodities in the area, break-even analysis, using commodity insurance as part of a comprehensive marketing plan and using futures: whole farm revenue protection and crop revenue protection, and options to manage risk: cross hedging calves.
