The city of Cortez will host the U.S. Navy Band Southwest Brass Band from San Diego for a free concert in Montezuma Park April 23 at 6 p.m.
The performance is part of the band’s Colorado tour celebrating the United States’ 250th anniversary. The concert is expected to last about an hour.
The event is open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring a folding chair or blanket for seating.
