Cortez Public Library open with limited capacity

The Cortez Public Library is open with limited capacity from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.

Curbside pickup will remain an option for those who prefer limited contact or who need accommodation. The use of laptops outside the building with a current state-issued photo ID and a library card is still available.

Wi-Fi hours are 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and is unavailable Sundays.

Patrons are asked to keep visits as brief as possible. Those that do not have a mask will be provided one when they arrive. The library cannot accommodate groups. The community meeting room, study rooms and the drinking fountain will remain closed. There is no restroom available for non-library users. Visitors should allow for 6 feet of distance from other patrons.

Computers will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Use is limited to one session per day per person, unless there is no wait list. Staff will provide alcohol wipes to visitors looking to wipe down any technology before use.

The photocopier will be available for patron use as self-serve. Fax service is not available. Staff assistance with technology will be limited. Staff may be able to assist if appropriate 6 feet social distancing can be maintained.
