Poetry Lovers and wordsmiths are invited to attend two events to celebrate National Poetry Month.

Poet Renee Podunovich will share some of her newest work at 6 p.m. Friday, at Cortez Public Library, 202 N. Park St. Podunovich will share the stage with poet Faith Coyote, and also invites the audience to participate with an open mic segment.

Podunovich will facilitate a Well-Writing workshop for discovery, wholeness and connection from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, at the library. Learn several techniques for using writing for self-care, wellness and personal growth.
