The school serves students kindergarten through eighth grade

Student registration for the 2025-26 school year at Cortez Adventist Christian School will be held Tuesday, July 22 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the school, 540 W. Fourth St.

At the registration event, families will be able to tour the school, meet teachers and learn more about the school and its commitment to Christian education.

According to the school’s website, Cortez Adventist Christian School is a private school that offers a faith-based curriculum to students in kindergarten through eighth grade. The school also emphasized their academic excellence, sharing that a three-year study of over 50,000 Adventist school students (across all grade levels), revealed that students enrolled in Adventist schools “outperformed the national average” in their academics.

At registration, children activities will be available for incoming students. The first day of school is set to commence Tuesday, Aug. 19.
