Scoring nine runs in the first inning, the Frackers got off to a hot start thanks to doubles by LaMunyon and Caden Wood. LaMunyon and Perez each drove in a pair of runs as did Scott.

That lead evaporated thanks to a five-run fourth inning from Next Level, who tied the game in the top of the sixth inning.

After surrendering the lead and going to the bottom of the seventh inning down 11-9, the Frackers scored a run thanks to a wild pitch with Justin Bixler on third base, then scored the winning run when Drew Perez singled in both Nic Twedt and Wood.

In the Saturday nightcap, the Frackers came up short with the tournament title on the line, losing to the ABA by a final of 10-6.

The Frackers responded by reclaiming the lead only to see it squandered away when the ABA scored six unanswered runs to earn the win.

“The weekend was a huge success. Our guys played hard and top quality baseball,” Wyatt said. “I feel the chemistry coming off this weekend provides significant momentum for the rest of the summer.”
