The Mancos Public Library hosts Dustin Partridge's slideshow "Thru-Hiking the Continental Divide," at 7 p.m. The Masncos resident hike more than 3,000 miles on the Continental Divide Trail through five states. Details: www.mancoslibrary.org or 970-533-7600.

Dr. Lillian Wakeley will present a talk about the 1996 discovery of the remains of 9,000-year-old Kennewick Man and the legal battles under the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act. The program begins at 7 p.m. Far View Lodge in Mesa Verde National Park, and is free to the public.

The San Juan Basin Archaeological Society will meet at 7 p.m. at the Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College in Durango. Michael Berry, president of the Colorado Council of Professional Archaeologists and director of the Dominguez Archaeological Research Group, will present "Southwestern Radiocarbon and Tree-Ring Database Websites."
