Two occupants of a Suburban were transported to Southwest Memorial Hospital about 1 p.m. Friday after the vehicle veered into the oncoming lane and was hit by a white Ford pickup heading south on U.S. 491 near the Eagle Claw Liquor and Gifts store. One person in the Ford was slightly injured, with a cut above his eye.
