The Cortez Area Chamber of Commerce was excited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening of Cobalt Mortgage at 2505 E. Main St., Cortez. Manager Paul Root has assembled a core group of nine seasoned local mortgage loan officers to start the Durango Branch of Cobalt Mortgage including satellite offices in Cortez and Pagosa Springs. The Cortez office is run by Lisa de Kramer, senior loan officer, with 37 years in the industry.
