The city of Cortez refuse crew will work regular routes during the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. Residents should put their trash out the night before, or no later than 5 a.m. on their regular trash collection day.

The recycling crew will not work Christmas Day or New Year’s Day. Wednesday’s recycling will be picked up Thursday. The drop-off center will be cleared on Friday for weekend users.

City offices will close at noon Tuesday, and reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday both weeks.
