The Journal

The December Power Breakfast is 8:15 to 9:30 a.m. Dec. 10 at First National Bank, 2258 E. Main St.

Park in the adjacent large lot, not the main lot.

Power Breakfast is a monthly breakfast opportunity for businesses or residents to meet, network and learn something of interest that helps or inspires. It will feature fresh breakfast from Pippo’s, new member introductions, anniversaries, door prizes, networking and guest speaker Tucker Robinson of WildEdge Brewing Collective.

After a 10-year stint as an archaeologist, Robinson decide crafting beer was his true passion in life. Years of home brewing and an internship at Swiftwater Brewing Co. in upstate New York provided him with a basis to launch into brewing for a larger audience.

Those who would like to make an announcement or pitch during the meeting must bring a door prize. New members must be introduced by a current member.

The breakfast is hosted by the Cortez Chamber of Commerce and United Way of Southwest Colorado.
