The seventh annual Youth Expo, hosted by Durango’s Mayoral Youth Advisory Commission, will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. May 2 at Buckley Park.
The event is designed to introduce local businesses to Durango youths and provide middle school and high school students with internships, jobs and resume-building opportunities.
Participating businesses will have a chance to hire and train young employees and interns. Businesses will be charged no fee for the booth-style setup and will be provided one rectangular table as well as a logo posting on the event website and posters.
Donations would be appreciated to continue this community function.
