Girl Scout Scott Earley, wearing her Super Girl Scout Cape, finishes the run portion of the Cortez Burst triathlon. Scott completed all three of the events.
Members of Girl Scout Troop 2619 competed in the Cortez Burst Triathlon. While working on their physical fitness badges, they became interested in the Presidential Active Lifestyle program. The troop had nine Girl Scouts who went further in their training and achieved this award along with medals and certificates signed by President Obama. After that, they decided to train and compete in the Cortez Burst Triathlon.
