The Dolores Public Library has scheduled a lecture series on personal finance that runs April 7 through May 19. Learn about household budgets, credit reports, avoiding identity theft, home loans and investing.

Speakers for the lecture series include:

Pam Moore, deputy director of La Plata Homes Fund Inc., a Southwest Colorado nonprofit, that builds diverse and resilient communities by developing affordable housing and empowering residents with the financial resources and educational tools to achieve homeownership.Andrew Cuckie (Cookie), a financial adviser from Edward Jones, Cortez. Cuckie a native of Cortez and has worked in the finance industry since 2012. The Edward Jones Co. was founded in 1922 and primarily focuses on financial planning for individual investors and small business owners.Donna Dyer, information security adviser at Dolores State Bank. Dyer is a native of Dolores and has worked in information technology as a programmer, systems analyst, and data processing auditor. She has an MBA and was the information security officer for the Federal Reserve Bank in Virginia. She has worked for Dolores State Bank in information security since 2004.The lectures
