Local artist Don Stevenson, left, donated these two acrylic and sand paintings to Montezuma County Sheriff Steven Nowlin. Stevenson has been painting, experimenting with different media for 50 years. These two pieces will hang in the sheriff’s office and the Montezuma County Courthouse.
