The Mancos School of the West is off and running. Check out the website for a list of classes and workshops. Registrar Patricia Burk tells me that they are filling up fast, so don't wait.

Schools plan first art show

Don't miss this: The Mancos Schools (K-12) will have its first art show in Mancos.

They've been holding it on Cortez for years, but the show will be in Mancos this year.

It opens with a reception and ice cream social at the Mancos Town Gallery on Thursday night, 5-7 p.m. Kim Russell, our lone art teacher, puts on a helluva show!

Artists invited to Spring Show

The Mancos Valley Arts Council invites all artists in all mediums to submit work for its Spring Show. Submittal dates are March 26, 27, 28. The show will be up for several months. Questions: Email Jan Wright at jan@butterflyvisions.com or call Marilyn Kroeker at 533-7434. Show us your stuff.
