Thanks for the recent letter concerning U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert’s sponsorship of legislation to make the AR-15 America’s official national gun. I hadn’t heard about that until I read it recently in The Journal.

Boebert’s display of the shirt describing the AR-15 as a “cordless hole puncher” is simply another example of her lying to her constituents. These weapons don’t punch holes into your body. They rip it apart.
