A letter to the editor in February had the following comment about flying American and Trump flags together: “Therefore, any expression of support for that person is not a patriot and does not deserve to fly the U.S. flag.”

Who is he to try to suppress others rights and freedoms because they don’t align with his opinion – not facts – of someone? I’d bet a dollar to a dime that he doesn’t have the stones to fly a Joe Biden flag and show his support for the worst POTUS in modern history.

But if he did, I – and most – would respect his rights to make such an awful choice without declaring he is not a patriot.

This is America and there are patriots with all sorts of political differences. We all think we are on the good side. We all can be when we show respect for others.
