ZU Gallery hosts tribute night featuring local performers reimagining Parton favorites

ZU Gallery will host All Dolled Up, an evening celebrating the music of Dolly Parton with local musicians and community members performing their interpretations of her songs.

The event is set for Saturday, April 18, at 6 p.m. at ZU Gallery, 48 W. Main St. Admission is $10 at the door, and all proceeds will support the participating artists.

The tribute follows previous themed nights at the gallery, including “Shades of Petty,” honoring Tom Petty, and “Braids & Bandanas,” for Willie Nelson. Performers will present solos and duos featuring Parton’s catalog in a range of styles.

The setlist includes well‑known hits such as “Jolene,” “9 to 5,” “Coat of Many Colors” and “I Will Always Love You,” along with selections like “Travelin’ Thru,” “The Seeker” and “Backwoods Barbie.”

Jodi Jahrling, owner and operator of ZU Gallery, said the evening highlights both Parton’s influence and the creativity of local performers.

“Dolly Parton’s music transcends genre and generation,” Jahrling said. “We’re excited to showcase how our talented local musicians make these beloved songs their own while honoring a true icon of American music.”

Attendees are encouraged to dress in theme. All performance slots are filled.
