As the days, months, and years go by I hear of friends and family who served in the United States armed forces go on their final journey to be with our heavenly father.

On Memorial Day, I pray they are at peace I thank them for their services. I thank them for my freedom. I pray they are at peace. I pray that they are not forgotten and that they are remember for their sacrifices.

And for the men and women who are still here with us, dear Lord, ease their minds and spirit. I pray they are safe and out of harm’s way today, I ask for the Lord to bless each and every one of them. I ask he watches their family and comforts them.

Dear Lord, let them all know they are loved and I am grateful for them. Amen.

So this Memorial Day take time and pray for all veterans, alive and deceased. I wish everyone a safe Memorial Day.
