40 Years Ago Taken from the pages of the Dolores Star, Friday, April 27, 1973 Larry and Marilyn Pleasant, Editors

Interesting developments are rumored but largely go unverified this week concerning town board matters with few persons wishing to be quoted. It appears that some town board members met last Friday but the Star was informed it was an informal meeting and no minutes were taken. It is also known that Henry Sudduth submitted a letter of resignation but this was withdrawn. Further developments are that the towns clerk's office is in receipt of a letter from Mayor Art Nielson submitting his resignation from that office to the town board.
