The 100 Club to host Inaugural First Responder Charity Golf Tournament on May 18.

The 100 Club of Montezuma County will host the Inaugural First Responder Charity Golf Tournament at 1 p.m. May 18, at Conquistador Golf Course, 2018 N. Dolores Road. The tournament will kick off EMS Week and will be a will be a nine-hole (three, three, three) tournament.

The first three holes will be Best Ball. Each team member plays their own ball throughout the round. After each hole, the lowest score from each team member is the score for that team on the hole. The second three holes will be Alternate Shot. Players from each team alternate shots on each hole throughout three holes. Teammates alternate who hits the tee shot on each hole. The last three holes will be Scramble. Each team member tees off on every hole. After the initial tee shots, the team selects the best shot, and then each team member plays their next shot from that spot.

The entry form and $75 entry fee are due May 10. The entry fee includes dinner and course fees. Proceeds go to local families of first responders killed in the line of duty, as well as scholarships to the children of these families.
