‘Today’ show headed to Four Corners

The “Today” show will visit the Four Corners Monument on Monday, Nov. 9 from 5 to 8:14 a.m.

NBC is hoping for a huge crowd from each of the states to greeting Al Roker during his weather broadcast at the Four Corners Monument.

NBC and the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe request that each of the four states be represented by its Native American traditional/cultural during the event.

The event at the Four Corners Monument is part of NBC’s “Rokerthon 2, Taking America By Storm.”

Last year, Al Roker broadcast a record-breaking 34 straight hours of weather coverage. This year, he will attempt The Guinness World Records title for the fastest time to report a weather forecast from all 50 states and the District of Colombia.

Rokerthon 2 kicks off in Hawaii on Nov. 6 and ends Nov. 13, on Rockefeller Plaza.
