When will this madness stop? The Manhattan district attorney indicted former President Donald Trump on charges that at least two left-leaning federal and state prosecutors previously passed on after looking at the same evidence Alvin Bragg is using for indictments. What we are seeing is reminiscent of a Stalin-like tactic which is “show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.” This fits right in with Nancy Pelosi saying Trump has the right to prove his innocence. It’s the U.S., Nancy. We’re innocent until proven guilty!

Trump is leading in the Republican primary polls, and head-to-head with President Joe Biden. For a prosecutor in the same party of a candidate seeking reelection to destroy the likely opponent is a first. This is what you see in a third-world country. Braggs’ chief witness, Michael Cohen, is a felon and a confessed liar with a well-documented hatred for Trump. This is just the latest persecution of Trump that started with spying on his campaign and presidency, two impeachments, an armed raid of his residence, and the FBI director leaking to media a confidential conversation.

Where is blind Lady Justice? Where is equal application of our laws as it applies to other officials? Why don’t laws apply to all equally? What are the Democrats afraid of? Why do those in power fear Trump and his followers so much that they have to weaponize and politicize the justice system? When only power matters, madness follows.
