The Koppenhafer family moves 250 head of cattle along Trinity Avenue, just off E. Main Street, on Monday. The herd left Mancos on Saturday. On Monday afternoon, the National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for the Four Corners area until 9 a.m. Tuesday. Up to eight inches of snow were forecast, with winds ranging from 5-15 mph. Affected towns included Cortez, Dove Creek, Dolores, Mancos, Durango, Bayfield, Ignacio and Pagosa Springs.
