As part of the Four Corners Lecture Series, Southwest Colorado Canyons Alliance presents Dr. Ray Williamson on Saturday, June 20, 8:30 p.m., at the Hawkins Preserve in Cortez.
Williamson will present a night sky presentation “Building a Calendar from Watching the Skies,” a non-technological approach in which he will discuss the crucial role of skywatching for survival of ancient people on the landscape.
