Montelores Baptist Church will hold its third annual Fall Chili Fest and Cook-off from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12.
A concert featuring The Haining Family will be part of the Chili Fest activities. The Haining Family is on tour from Branson, Mo., and they will bring their “front-porch family-style music” which includes gospel, bluegrass, yodeling, and old-time favorites.
The whole family will enjoy this event with a great chili meal and good music. Admission to the Chili Fest dinner and concert is free, and donations will be received.
Everyone is invited to enter the Chili Cook-off ($10 entry fee) which will have cash prizes for the Judges Award and Peoples Award.
