Cortez Animal Shelter has been invited by Wal-Mart and the Purina Representative to hold an Adopt-a-Thon at Wal-Mart from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26. They will have puppies and kittens available for adoption at reduced rates.
